The Reliance Promise

Matched with a caregiver in 48 hours, or your first week is on us.

Most Ohio providers take two to four weeks to staff a new client. We will not. After your in-home assessment, we present two to three matched caregivers within 48 hours. If we miss, your first week of private-pay care is free, and we waive your intake fee.

Personal care clients only. Waiver placements (IO, SELF, Level One, local funds) follow county authorization timelines.

What backs the promise

  • Pre-screened caregiver bench

We reject 7 of every 10 DSP applicants before they ever meet a family.

  • Same-day intake review

Coordinators triage every new family within hours, not days.

  • Match, do not assign

You see two to three caregivers picked for personality, language, and schedule. You choose.

  • On-call RN, 24/7

Clinical questions get clinical answers. Emergency respite when something goes wrong.

The Principles

Why families stay.

Five commitments we keep on every case. Not aspirations. Operating rules.

  1. 01

    Coordinators who answer the phone.

Real people in Lucas County. No call center, no menu trees, no twelve-minute holds. The same coordinator follows your family from intake through the first weeks of care.

  2. 02

Waiver paperwork in days, not months.

IO, SELF, Level One, local funds, and private pay. We handle the forms, the calls to your case manager, and the timing.

  3. 03

    Caregivers matched, not assigned.

Background-checked, drug-tested, certified. Then matched to your family on personality, language, schedule, and what your loved one actually needs help with.

  4. 04

An RN on call, around the clock.

Clinical questions get a clinical answer. Same-day emergency respite when something at home goes wrong. Family updates without you having to ask.

  5. 05

Built for the next decade. Run by your neighbors.

Modern operations behind every visit. The team at your door is local, and acts like it.

What families tell us, after a few weeks in.

Within days we had a coordinator at our kitchen table and a caregiver in the home that same week. My mother is safe and her caregiver knows her by name.
Sarah J.Daughter · Sylvania
Our son has independence we didn't think possible. The team feels like neighbors, not a vendor.
Marcus & Elena R.Parents · Toledo
Clear, honest, fast. Our DODD plan finally feels like it fits our family.

  • Tasha W.

    Daughter of a private-pay client

Reliance had a coordinator at our kitchen table within 48 hours and a caregiver in the home the same week. Our caregiver Robin has not missed a single morning in eight months.

  • Marcus B.

    Son, IO waiver family

We bounced between two other agencies before Reliance. They actually listen. My brother has autism and needs the same caregiver every day. Reliance has held that schedule for over a year.

  • Patricia M.

    Spouse, dementia care

I needed respite to keep my own sanity. Reliance set up four hours twice a week and the caregiver, Denise, has become family. She brings my husband his crossword every morning.

  • Jamal R.

    DODD SELF Waiver family

We self-direct my brother's SELF waiver and Reliance handles the billing and DODD paperwork so we don't lose our weekends. They sat with our SSA and got it right the first time.

What good days look like

A team that walks beside you, not just in to check a box.

Most afternoons look like this. A caregiver, a coordinator, a client, and an unhurried walk. Care here is a relationship, not a shift.
